To set your clip resolution and capture location, press the Xbox button to open the guide, go to settings and then go to Broadcast & capture > Advanced settings. This will open a menu where you can change your recording settings. Within this setting menu you can select save to external drive. It is recommended that you save your captures to an external hard drive to increase the amount of time you can record and how many clips you can store.
